Description Bed Dimensions   The four posts, are tall on the headboard and low on the footboard, measuring 5” square at the widest point, and look exactly like fence posts. These are topped with round 4 ¼” finials to complete the illusion. A tall inset of wood slats gives the bed a clean, cottage-like appearance. The lower footboard posts rest on rounded wood mushroom feet. Of course, the Cape Cod has a pristine, all-white painted finish. The bright, clean look is perfect in keeping with its historic roots. With its durable lacquer finish, this wonderful, maintenance-free bed only needs wiping periodically with a dry cloth.
